Since the 1930's the FBI have secretly conducted investigations into the Supernatural, but to this day hard evidence of their existance is still weak. Various divisions within the FBI encounter the paranormal more frequently than they could ever know, but before they begin to suspect their cases are handed over to divisions specially equipped to deal with the World of Darkness.

Project Twilight is the code name for the Governments investigations into the supernatural, whether it is by the FBI, NSA, CIA or 'men in black'. Originally a supplement for Werewolf the Apocalyse it formed one of the releases for Year of the Hunter. It is not the same as Hunter the Reckoning, these are mortals with Government backing.

This site primarly chronicles the investigations by a team based in Washington D.C. A general task force with the remit to assist their fellow officers in the FBI, other agencies and local law enforcment. Although their remit is not the investigation of the paranormal their workload is often supernatual influenced. Maybe someone wants it that way or they are just plain unlucky.

The game has been running on/off since 1996 (more on) and was my first experience with the World of Darkness. I have since played other WOD games like Vampire, Mage, Werewolf and even LARP but have not enjoyed those games as much. I wrote a review of Project Twilight for a local gaming fanzine back in 1996 which has been included here for completeness. I will be including links and resources in this site that hopefully will be useful to anyone running a Conspiracy X-Files type game, with rules, downloads and links for different gaming systems.
