Tears and confusion are all that remains outside the West side General Hospital here in DC, what appears to be two separate incidents within minutes of each other has left 16 Colonial Marines, 4 security guards, 2 Policemen and three by standers dead. A further three civilians were injured in what is described as a senseless shoot out. Police and Marines have secured the area but no group has yet claimed responsibility.

There is a communications black out surrounding a Colonial Marine Base in Washington. Residents near the base claim to have been awaken during the night by automatic gunfire and explosions. ICC claim the base is involved in Counter Terrorist Maneuvers, ICC will be investigating why the local residents were not informed and deal with all complaints seriously.

Mystery surrounds the bombing of a government building in Swansea in the early hours of this morning. Firemen battled for three hours to bring the blaze under control while bomb disposal experts were on standby. It is believed to be another step in the terror campaign of the WPF, but no one has claimed responsibility.

On a lighter note, Mrs. Merton is the first person to have successfully accepted an artificially cultured heart. Surgeons said it was early days but her life signs look promising.
