Second year of Patrol Duty, the settlers are now pretty hostile, something to do with all but one of the corporations pulling out because there wasn't enough here to sustain them. Jefferson's Corporation seems to be hanging in there though. Either up to no good or found something that the other corporations missed. They are now dropping their wage scales because they are the only employer on the planet.
I received a wire from Jannie's solicitors requesting a divorce, she was citing the marines as grounds for divorce, we were only married on paper but my heart was with the marines. Things had gone down hill between us. We did have our moments, after all we did have Amber our two year old daughter, so we must have got on at one stage.
